Sculptra doesn’t get as much hype as Botox & other anti-aging treatments, and I’m not sure why. Sculptra is a very effective anti-aging treatment that produces natural looking results.

How it works

As you age, your body’s collagen production decreases, and you may begin to see more wrinkles. Sculptra progressively replaces lost collagen to offer a more natural look that can last up to 25 months.

The main ingredient, poly-L-lactic acid, is a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic material that has been used by physicians for decades.

One potential “drawback” is that the results tend to take a while longer to show (up to 2 months) than other treatments (such as Botox where results show in a few days). But, Sculptra results last longer (up to 2 years) and have a more natural look (no frozen facial expressions).

Scupltra Procedure

Sculptra is most commonly used on patients ages 35 to 60. The procedure takes 15 to 30 minutes and patients can return home after the procedure is complete.
